"The World of Toyota" by Toyota Motor Philippines

With 11 consecutive years of Triple Crown from 2002 to 2012 and known as the leading automotive brand in the country, Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) is celebrating its silver year in the industry. The 25 years include providing quality vehicles and unparalleled service to their customers. And to give thanks, Toyota would like to invite the public to "Start the Fun" as per TMP President, Mr. Michinobu Sugata expressed in his statement and visit "The World of Toyota" at the World Trade Center, Pasay City. The event will run from August 10 until August 18, 2013.

Before I continue on the my experience on the said event, I would like to thank Digital Mind Group, especially Ms. Ac, who invited me in the opening ceremony of "The World of Toyota" by TMP yesterday, August 10, 2013. Thank you for choosing and trusting Geejay Travel Log!

My ID for the event
Going back in the motor show, this event is titled The World of Toyota because this will highlight Toyota vehicles from the past, present and future. In short, this is like time travelling that will bring viewers back to our old-school-days rides plus a preview of Toyota's upcoming models.

Welcome to the World of Toyota
As I enter on the venue, I was greeted by a melting pot of modified Toyotas and I must say it was a great start to welcome attendees of the event. People, which includes me, can't stop drooling on the displayed vehicles. Attendees start checking out and talking about the car's features. Photographers and enthusiasts also start pressing their shutter buttons to capture those jaw dropping cars. That time, everybody was excited to see what lies behind the other room where the main event will be held.

The AE-86 - I am really thrilled to see this in person
I want to take this in Expressway!
Love this on my wedding day :] #drool

This is my favorite among the 4 cars displayed at the entrance of the venue
Waiting for the main event...
Then the time has finally arrived, everybody were called to enter the main room. TMP President, Mr. Michinobu Sugata delivered his speech welcoming everyone which was followed by a feet stomping dance performance inspired by lights and shadows. After the welcome remarks, the tour on Toyota's timeline begins!

The executives and bosses of Toyota Motor

The Classics

Got to see classic cars from the year 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s. These includes the Corolla, Crown, Cressida and a lot more. These are finely tune cars that are part of the rich history not only for Toyota but for the car industry as a whole.

Let's bring back the past
Accustomed classic cars

The SUVs

Ride for big boys

The Exotics

They were named exotics because these cars were designed and created in a rare and unique way. The Toyota Century, the Toyota 2000 GT and the Toyota Sports 800 which are considered luxury model. Visiting "The World of Toyota" will let you see these models in premium full size that will hype your interest.

My girl will definitely like this car. "Yota-Hatchi" also known as the Toyota Sports 800
I wonder what's inside its hood... Hmmm

The Lexus

The lighting really gave this car an extra charm
Just, WOW!

The RCs

This is my favorite part of the car tour/show. Though I am not a huge fan of racing, seeing the cars on this section gave me chill. Amazement flows all over my body. Specially the part where they unveiled the Vios RC. Oh my, how I wish I could have it test drive.

My favorite section of this event
Step on the gas

I was stunned for a few sec when I saw this

The Concept Cars

I thought it was going to transform into a machine when it was introduced to us
One of the highlight of this event are the two concept cars of Toyota - the FCV-R and the LF-LC in which will shape the future of Toyota. These gives people another reason why this event should not be missed. This rare opportunity to view these concept cars.

Fuel-Cell Vehicle Reality and Revolution(FCV-R)
"Toyotas Fuel-Cell Vehicle Reality and Revolution(FCV-R) is a dedicated concept model that is highly practical.Marking its next step towards mass production sometime in 2015,this mid-size family FCV runs on hydrogen and does not emit emission gas or CO2 but only water vapor. Overall, the FCV-R combines breakthrough innovation with ergonomic practicality and futuristic styling. Mirroring Toyotas new family design, both the front and rear styling exposes a W theme, signifying the fuel cell cooling system."
