Taiwan Day 14: Shopping at Wu Fen Pu

Day Fourteen

Today I met up with two Taiwanese girls to work on the second part of the project which is to create a camp for primary and secondary school students. We met at Taipei Main Station and I found out that there are underground malls there that look similar to the ones I saw in Japan!

After our meeting we went to Wu Fen Pu via the Houshanpi MRT station. I found this shopping area online last night and many blogs raved about how good the prices were. Wu Fen Pu is about a 5 minute walk from the MRT station with clear signs pointing you in the right direction. I only took one photo here because I was too busy shopping! The prices really are very good with items starting as low as NT50! That's a little less than CAD2!

After some fulfilling shopping my new friends Emily, Linda and I went to eat Taiwanese food. They told me about must-see places around the island and got me excited for the time I still have here.

Wu Fen Pu  rocks!

Take care,
