Taiwan Day 25: Tea shop

Day Twenty Five

Before Bopiliao Historic Block was renovated, there used to be old shop houses that had their businesses there. One of these was a tea shop that has since relocated. The current Vice President of Taiwan used to have tea here and he would come in slippers!

Tried some noodles and fried pork rib soup for lunch. It was all right.

Lunch
We walked by this area in Wanhua that is called Heping (peace). It is old but has a lot of character. Hui Chee and I had to go to a meeting so we didn't explore more.

After our meeting at Taipei Main Station, when we walked out we saw this building so we walked over to see what it was. Turns out that it is called Control Yuan and was built by the Japanese but it is only open to tourists on Friday so we didn't go in.

Control Yuan
Take care,
